APISA's Motivation Conference (MC) is a student initiated outreach program that primarily focuses on Asian Pacific Islander high school students who come from historically under privileged and under resourced communities. MC brings up these participants to UC Santa Cruz for the weekend in hopes to inspire and motivate them to pursue some form of higher education after high school.This mixer is for UCSC students who want to learn more about MC and possibly be involved with the planning of the conference or volunteer the weekend of. We will be outlining the different volunteer roles and will be able to answer any questions you might have. So come get to know other students as well as the MC Team! If interested come to the REDWOOD LOUNGE on February 19th at 6:30!!Free dinner from Shun Feng will be provided!APISA would like to make this event accessible to all people.
